Welcome to the website of the Taiwan Australia Alumni Association (TAAA). The TAAA provides a number of services that enable Australian alumni in Taiwan to maximise the benefits accrued through their study in Australia.
> Initiative
The TAAA was officially launched on 29 June 2002 with the support and assistance of the Australian Commerce and Industry Office. The TAAA’s Chief Patron is Nobel Laureate and former President of Academia Sinica, Dr Lee Yuan-Tseh. We currently have 940 alumni registered, and we welcome more to join us.
> Objectives
1-foster bilateral relations between Australia and Taiwan through Taiwanese students who have studied in Australia;
2-provide a forum for Taiwanese students to retain their connections to Australia;
3-advance the internationalisation of education;
4-andmaintain contacts among students returned from Australia, and to assist them socially and professionally.
